Tired of brushing my teeth at 8 years old, I decided to try and solve the problem as an engineer would. With suction-cup feet and a stainless steel body ("to prevent rust", of course), my design intention was to never have to brush my own teeth again. It also was designed to come in 11 colors, with button color variants as well!
Frustrated by the inefficiency of the design of the area where I lived, I decided to design my own suburban town. The plan came complete with a school, a retail shopping area, and multiple neighborhoods with different housing options all within proximity to a park. I even included a close up of what a residential lot would look like.
A new take on a cocktail napkin sketch, I decided to draw this out on the back of a restaurant menu.
Inspired by Walt Disney's "Modern City," I designed a "plantable" city -- intending for it to be both the space ship and space colony.
